Each year, Trinity Park typically celebrates Halloween with a gathering in the Park. TPNA volunteers decorate the park’s gazebo and environs with spooky accoutrements and lay out arts and crafts activities for the younger crowd (along with candy for the younger, young, and maybe not-so-young crowd).
On Halloween 2024 the park was brimming with princesses, pumpkins, witches, warriors, minions, and monsters of all sizes. Thanks to chief organizer Steve Falzarano for rounding up supplies and volunteers for this super fun event, with a photo booth, various crafts, glow sticks and treats, as well as a raffle and a costume contest, with prizes of gift certificates for the Carolina Theater, LocoPops and the Parlour. “It was so hard to choose the winners! There were so many awesome costumes!” said Jess Lawing, one of the costume judges.
Thanks to all who volunteered to help with the festivities at the park, donated candy, decorated their homes throughout the neighborhood, and came out in costume for one of the best annual events in Trinity Park! Special thanks again to Larry Apple for capturing the evening on film.
We are always looking for new ideas for fun activities for neighborhood events, as well as help with set-up and clean-up. If you would like to help in any way, please contact Steve Falzarano.
