Each year, Trinity Park typically celebrates Halloween with a gathering in the Park. After a pandemic pause in 2020, we had a simpler-than-usual celebration in 2021 with an amazing turnout.
Halloween 2022 saw a return to normalcy. Steve Falzarano and TPNA volunteers decorated the park’s gazebo and environs with spooky accoutrements and laid out plenty of arts and crafts activities for the younger crowd (along with candy for the younger, young, and maybe not-so-young crowd).
Now, Halloween 2023 is around the corner. The Trinity Park Neighborhood Association is once again sponsoring and supporting this event but it takes our neighbors to make this happen! This is typically our largest neighborhood event of the year with hundreds in attendance. But we can’t do it without your support.
We are graciously requesting candy donations and volunteers.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Setup and Decorate Trinity Park – 3 PM (2 volunteers)
- Hand Out Glow Sticks – 4-6:30 PM (2 volunteers)
- Hand Out Free Raffle Tickets – 4-6 PM (2 volunteers)
- Bag Decorating Craft Table – 4-6:30 PM (2 volunteers)
- Costume Contest Judges – 5-6:30 PM (3 volunteers)
- Hand Out Candy – 6 PM (2 volunteers)
- Tear Down – 6:30 PM (3 volunteers)
Please contact Steve Falzarano at email@example.com if you wish to volunteer or make a donation
Last year, hundreds of costumed goblins, mandalorians, and Taylor Swifts came by before venturing out into the neighborhood to do their trick-or-treating. An esteemed tribunal of recent George Watts graduates strolled among the crowd surreptitiously judging the costumes for the costume contest, with LocoPops gift certificates and other treats going to the winners. Special thanks to LocoPops and all the neighbors who donated candy and time to one of the best annual events in Trinity Park!
We are always looking for new ideas for fun activities for neighborhood events, as well as help with set-up and clean-up. If you would like to help in any way, please contact Steve Falzarano at firstname.lastname@example.org
