“Leave Your Leaves” presentation at 11/3 TPNA meeting

Thanks to Chay’La Hart, NCCU senior and Community Ambassador with the New Hope Audubon Society, and former County Commissioner Ellen Reckhow, for presenting to us at the TPNA November 3 meeting. They are working with New Hope Audubon Society and Keep Durham Beautiful to promote the “Leave Your Leaves” campaign. Leaving your autumn leaves in your yard, rather than blowing them and hauling them away, can save time and money and is better for the environment in many ways.

The first 47 minutes of the video are of the Leave Your Leaves presentation.

The remainder of the video is of the rest of the board meeting, covering topics such as traffic updates, the Trinity Park Foundation activities and their new website – trinityparkfoundation.org, membership database maintenance, upcoming arts-focused grants from the Duke-Durham Neighborhood Partnership, and plans for TPNA meeting in person in January.
