Neighbors and friends who fondly remember Scott Schuett and his dedication to keeping Trinity Park clean and beautiful came together on October 26 to walk the streets and gardens, pruning, weeding, and collecting roadside litter. Scott led by example and, with an infectious smile, encouraged others to do their bit, and so twenty or more residents, in a tribute to him, walked down the streets and gardens between Trinity and Main, Buchanan and Gregson, cutting overhanging branches, picking up trash and weeding the median at Trinity Park. Scott, who died in July, was a trained Tree Keeper and a frequent volunteer with Keep Durham Beautiful; he set an example for all of us.
