After last year’s pandemic pause, TPNA will hold a Covid-safe Halloween celebration @4:30-6:30 in the Park, with some differences from our traditional festivities.
Candy, glow sticks, and photo op in the Park. From 4:30 to 6:30pm, come to the gazebo in the Park, where we’ll be giving out glow sticks and candy to trick-or-treaters. In addition, we’ll have a photo booth with a Halloween backdrop. Folks are welcome to stay and socialize, but we ask that you maintain distances and/or wear a mask. We’ll need some volunteers to help with the event, set up, and take down. If you would like to help, please contact Steven Falzarano.
No costume contest or crafts table. Unfortunately, due to the high-density crowd we usually have, we won’t have our costume contest, prize raffle, or a kids’ craft table. We hope to resume that tradition next year!
Trick-or-treating! If you’re up for it, go for it. Just be safe! Whether to participate in door-to-door trick-or-treating throughout the neighborhood will be at the discretion of individual trick-or-treaters and individual residents. You may find more homes with lights out than in previous years. Homes with lights on are generally considered to be open for business, and those with lights out are closed.
So, if you’re comfortable, plan to come out and celebrate with your neighbors and friends! And let’s keep it safe for everyone!
